- As in any movement resulting in progress toward a goal
*Crossing - As in a shallow area in a stream that can
be forded
*Passage - As in the act of passing from one state or place to the next
Our Mission
Our mission is to establish a Museum of Peacebuilding in New York City. Besides the presentation of organized artistic exhibitions
and programs with a thematic concentration on the concept of peacebuilding, facilities will be provided for seminars, workshops,
research, discussion and contemplative practices in peacebuilding.
Who We Are
Pasos has its offices in New York City. The current board of directors is made up of Artists, Attorneys, Businesspersons,
Filmmakers, Parents, Professors, and Teachers, representing Global Citizens of every walk of life who believe the potential

A LETTER FROM THE CHAIR
Dear Peace Innovators from around the world,
Pasos is nonprofit organization whose mission is to establish an interactive peace museum where individuals, families
and groups can gather to experience and learn about peacebuilding.
Through art collections, music, film, interactive exhibits, speaker series and workshops, Pasos invites every visitor
to explore how he or she can integrate into his or her life new understandings, outlooks, motivations and conceptions about
the relationship of human beings to each other and to their planet. Pasos will also challenge every visitor to identify one
thing he or she can do in his or her personal life, in their family or in the larger community to promote peace.
Pasos' exhibits and programs will focus on 3 areas:
PEACEBUILDING EDUCATION
for children and their families
for individuals and groups
for institutions
THE PEACE PROCESS
Understanding it and learning about local and worldwide efforts for peace
EXPERIENCING PEACE
Promoting inner peace through the arts and contemplative practices
